I have worked in many industries including banking, animal care, office administration, retail, cross-channel ferries, cruise terminals and Kent County Council services before joining the Royal Air Force (RAF) to fly on Chinooks. Upon leaving the RAF I settled near Birmingham working in the rail industry and medical sales sectors so have a wide breadth of work experience.

 

But I found the majority of these roles unfulfilling and wanted something more. Something with variety and creativity which could challenge me, whilst also providing flexibility, a level of financial reward, and ultimately secure the lifestyle I desired both now and in the future when I'm old and grey.

 

I have always had a keen interest in property! Years before even thinking about venturing into property, a hobby/obsession of mine was to watch episode after episode of 'Homes Under the Hammer' and other property shows. Many years later when I decided to make property my career I thought to myself "this property TV education probably isn't going to cut it".

So I knew I had to invest in myself and get properly educated in Property. To that end I completed an accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Property Course, and also completed courses in plumbing, plastering, tiling, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting and domestic electrics.

 

This enabled me to undertake refurbishments myself while continuing to learn many aspects of property until I branched into becoming a landlord myself, Deal Packaging, Estate Agency, and now Property Developments.
