I have spent the majority of my working life in the performing arts. I started as a performer in theatre and television and had the privilege of touring the world working with talents such as Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman. Later in my arts career I progressed to running a theatre company, Theatre Producer, Project Manager and Consultant.

 

I have always had an interest in real estate, acquiring my first property in 1998 and later growing and managing my portfolio in the UK and abroad. This included tenant management, regular upkeep of the properties, but also managing full refurbishments.

 

Personal circumstances dictated I had to slow down and I found myself in a position where I had to secure my financial future. So, I turned my passion for property into my profession, by completing a CPD (Continuous Professional Development) accredited course in property and then becoming a Deal Packager, before progressing to my current position as a Property Developer.

 

Thankfully my skills from my time in various theatre roles transferred across nicely including fundraising, bookkeeping, organisation, communication, planning and collaboration.
